Each year I look forward to attending the APHON Annual Exhibit & Conference and in 2024, we get to immerse ourselves in the beauty of Salt Lake City, Utah. Aside from the fresh September mountain air stirring your soul, here are reasons I think you should join us:

Explore new heights of evidence-based practice delivered via posters, papers, and presentations…and do not be shy about connecting and asking questions that will help you elevate your practice, as APHON members are here to be a part of your professional network.

PRIZES! Of course, it wouldn’t be an APHON conference without the wonderful prize drawing. Last year we sent 25 conference attendees home with prizes and maybe this year, we can do even more.
Get away from it all (because you deserve it). With the conference running from Wednesday to Friday 2024, we encourage you to stay for the weekend and head to the mountains or explore he history and culture of the local area. I know I plan on staying over to enjoy the Salt Lake City area.

Yes, the APHON conference is the premier gathering for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology nurses, but it is also a celebration of who we are as people and professionals. Every year when I attend the conference, I am filled with gratitude for my wonderful APHON friends and that is why I hope to see you there.

I want to thank Kathy Perko and the members of the Conference Planning Committee who are diligently planning this program (see below). I also wish to thank members of the APHON Salt Lake City Chapter who will greet you in their hometown.

Lastly, if you are excited about the conference but do not think you can make it in person, please join the fun as a virtual participant. All attendees will have access to education and digital networking through December 13, 2024.
