This annual breakfast and presentation stands as a favorite event honoring members and guests who hold a CPHON®, CPON® & BMTCN® certification. Session description:
Courtney Clark is the luckiest unlucky person in the world. After witnessing the terrorist attacks of September 11th from her office just 18 blocks north, she thought she had escaped unscathed. Little did she know the events of 9/11 would cause her to develop cancer just a few years later. Her experiences caused her to become a researcher and author on resilience and adaptability, to help people achieve their goals even when everything changes. Can you reach your goals, even if things aren’t going the way you expect? Most people (and organizations) are good at setting goals and making plans, but not as good at revising those plans when things change. But that’s the real work. Backed by Courtney’s data-driven research, ReVisionary Thinking® offers concrete strategies for building “future readiness” and blazing a new path when the goalposts move on you.
