Course Overview: This course aims to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and experiences faced by children undergoing 131I-MIBG therapy and their parents. The course will cover the high-risk nature of 131I-MIBG therapy, the necessity for single-room isolation, and the emotional and physical impacts on both children and parents. Learners will explore the methods used in the study, including data analysis techniques, and differentiate key findings related to the child and parent experiences. Additionally, the course will emphasize the clinical implications of the study, highlighting the importance of better education for families and the role of nurses in developing therapeutic relationships and implementing coping strategies.

- Describe the challenges of providing 131I-Metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I-MIBG) therapy to children with neuroblastoma.
