APHON’s Statement about Ukraine
The Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) is profoundly concerned with the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. APHON stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, as we witness innocent people being carelessly harmed. APHON is seeking ways to support healthcare providers who are struggling to care for pediatric hematology/oncology patients and families at the height of the war. As we continue to seek ways to support our fellow nurses, we add our voice to the cries for safe passage for patients and families, peace in Ukraine, and for justice to prevail. While we consider ways to support healthcare providers, we will update the website with any endorsed groups.
