Virtual Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Instructor Course

Eligibility
The Instructor Course is open to a nurse who:
- is a Licensed registered nurse
- is a current APHON Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider
- is an APHON member*
- has two years of clinical experience
- is a current Certified Pediatric Oncology Nurse (CPON®) or Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON®)
- has a bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
*If you are not currently an APHON member, you may join and register at the same time.
Course Registration Fee
The course fee includes one day of instructional content provided via Zoom and 6.25 NCPD continuing education hours.
Instructors will Receive
Instructors participating in the course will also receive:
- Access to the instructor PowerPoint slides, course rosters, teaching tools, and notes through the online Instructor Community to confidently teach Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider courses
- Exam administration instructions and guidelines
- an APHON Pediatric Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Instructor Card
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the APHON Education Team at education@aphon.org. A $50 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations requested by email on or before May 10, 2024. No refunds will be made under any circumstances on cancellations requested by email after May 10, 2024.
