Frequently Asked Questions
Are you unsure of attending because you won’t know anyone?
Each year, we welcome many first-time attendees, and we’re confident you’ll make meaningful professional connections—and new friends—throughout the sessions and while exploring the exhibit hall. We also offer a First Timer Orientation, where you can meet fellow newcomers and get officially welcomed to the conference. Don’t let being new hold you back. We can’t wait to see you in Tennessee!
What about other fees?
The fees for the Chemotherapy Biotherapy Instructor Course, Leadership Course, and Pre-Conference Sessions will be published once registration goes live. All the hosted Symposiums and the ONCC Recognition Breakfast are complimentary but have limited seating.
Can I pay with a check?
Yes, you may pay with a check. Complete your registration, and at the check-out page, indicate that you will pay by check. If you have registered at the early bird rate, checks must be received by 8/17 – unpaid registrations will be subject to a fee increase to reflect the late registration rate. If checks have not been received one week prior to the event, you will be contacted, and your registration may be canceled. Please make sure your institution labels your payment with APHON Conference 2026 and your name(s) and sent to 1660 International Drive, Suite 600 McLean, VA 22102.
What if I have questions about my group registration?
The group rate can be coordinated and applied for four or more individuals from the same institution being paid via one payment. Note: When registering multiple attendees, the individual may need to log into their APHON account so that the member rate applies to their registration. For groups larger than 6, please contact info@aphon.org to request a group code. You can add multiple registrants on a single file and place on a credit card, or contact us to coordinate a check or electronic payment.
Can I register on-site?
All attendees are encouraged to register online in advance, but walk-up registration will be available each day of the event. However, sessions such as pre-conference workshops and other special events may not be available for on-site registration if they are at capacity.
Can I pay for a one-day in-person attendance?
Because all registrations come with access to the event app and education session recordings, we will not be offering a one-day on-site rate in 2026. Please select the in-person category if you wish to attend the conference partially or as your schedule allows.
Is there an age minimum?
Students must be at least 17 years old. Please contact info@aphon.org if you wish to bring an infant who is nursing or requiring additional needs. We do our best to accommodate these situations; however, the parent will be responsible for safety in what can be a crowded environment and will be asked to respect that this is a professional event where fellow attendees must be able to focus and listen to the content.
What if I need to cancel?
Please contact us at info@aphon.org to learn about your options, but here are things to know:
- All refunds will be charged a $40 processing fee.
- Up until August 17, 2026 – A 50% refund plus the $40 processing fee will be charged. This will be a full cancellation – no access to the conference app or post-event recordings.
- August 18, 2026 and after – No refund permitted, but registration can be changed to a Conference To-Go package or transferred to another attendee at no charge.
Any requests for cancellation due to hardship need to be submitted in writing with a full explanation. If approved, a processing fee will be applied. Requests will be reviewed by the APHON Treasurer. Exceptions could be death in immediate family, long-term hospitalization, early maternity leave, and rehabilitation care for the attendee. The hardship would need to not only impact the days of the live conference but also weeks of the recorded education access.
