Local Chapter Logos
Chapters are encouraged to use APHON branded chapter logo on all chapter promotional materials, however, chapters may not use the logo on materials to imply an endorsement by APHON.
Please note: APHON chapter logos may be used by chapters only, not by individual chapter members.
The APHON logo is the protected property of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses. If you are unclear about its proper use, please contact APHON headquarters at info@aphon.org.
Logos are offered in the following formats:
PNG
Use PNG files for digital purposes where a transparent background is needed.
Best used for:
- Websites
- Social media graphics
- Presentations (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
- Digital newsletters
- Everyday use
EPS
Use EPS files for print and professional production purposes.
Best used for:
- Promotional items such as t-shirts, mugs, tablecloths, and large banner signs
- Printed materials like flyers, posters, and signage
- Design work done in professional software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign)
Please note: EPS files require specific design software to open (e.g., Adobe Illustrator). You may not be able to view them directly, but your vendor or designer will have no trouble accessing and using the file properly.
Which logo should I use?
Colored Logo
Use this version on white or very light, neutral backgrounds. It needs a clean, light surface to make the colors stand out clearly. Avoid using it on busy, textured, or dark backgrounds, as the details may get lost.

White Logo
Best for dark or richly colored backgrounds—think navy, black, dark gray, aphon purple, or even photos with dark overlays. The white logo provides strong contrast and ensures visibility when the full-color version would blend in.

Black Logo
Use this on white or very light backgrounds when you need a simple, high-contrast option. It’s ideal when you want a clean, bold look or when color isn’t needed. Avoid using it on dark backgrounds, as it will disappear.
